Bookings and guests
New bookings, guest details, changes and no-shows.
How do I know when a new booking arrives?
The host receives a notification, and the confirmed booking appears in the host panel and in the calendar of the relevant unit. Check the booking number, dates, unit, guest details, rules, price and the amount payable at the property.
Where can I see the booking details?
Choose a property, open “Reservations” and the specific reservation. For a multi-unit property, check each booked unit and its billing. Do not rely only on the total number of guests or the name of the property.
What if one booking contains multiple units?
Prepare each of the units listed. Check the guest distribution, meals, supplements and rules per unit. Change of one unit must not change the rest of the reservation unnoticed.
When will I receive the guest’s contact details?
Contact and messages are available in the context of a confirmed booking according to the viewing rules. Use them only to manage your stay and do not add a guest to your marketing list without appropriate consent.
Can I change the dates or unit of my confirmed booking?
You cannot modify the date or unit of a confirmed reservation on your own from the host panel at the moment. Talk to the guest through Tripundo messages and open the support request from the particular reservation. Availability, new price, cancellation rule and payment status are checked before each change.
Can I cancel a booking as a host?
You cannot cancel it independently from the host panel. Open a support request from the relevant booking, state the reason and proposed solution, and keep all communication with the guest. Frequent host cancellations may reduce listing visibility; repeated or serious cancellations may result in the property being suspended.
How do I mark a guest as a no-show?
The “Gast Not Coming” action is only available for confirmed reservations for a period that the system allows. Check messages and record your attempt to contact the guest before using it. If there is a dispute about arrival or billing, open the support request from that reservation and add relevant evidence.
What if the guest wants to cancel?
Instruct him to do the cancellation from the details of his reservation. Do not advise him to choose the wrong reason. If the stay has begun or there is a dispute, turn on Tripundo support.
