Onboarding and publishing
Every step from choosing the accommodation type to the final listing review.
What is onboarding and when do I start it?
Onboarding is a guided process in which, after registration, you enter the information Tripundo needs to create your property and its bookable units. It starts after your profile is set up and can be opened again for every new property by selecting “Add property.”
Are the steps the same for the apartment, house and hotel?
No. The first choice of accommodation type determines the further flow. The apartment and house lead through the property and unit data, while a hotel or multi-room property requires the addition and configuration of each unit type. Follow the steps of your onboarding: the fields that match the selected accommodation type are displayed.
Which steps are usually included in onboarding?
Depending on the accommodation type, onboarding covers the property type, basic details, location and map pin, photos, property facilities, unit capacity and amenities, meals, parking, description, house rules, price and commission, cancellation policy, availability and final settings. Hotels, multiple apartments or multiple houses may include an additional step for adding and mapping units.
How do I add one apartment or one house?
Choose the appropriate type of accommodation, enter one address and make one bookable unit. And when only one room is issued, the property and unit data must be correctly filled in as they are used on different places of advertising, booking and calendar.
How do I add multiple apartments or rooms at the same address?
First create a common property, then add each different type of unit. Identical physical units can share the same type and number of available copies, while different capacity, layout, photos, price or content require separate units.
Will progress be saved if I stop onboarding?
Yes. Tripundo saves the current step and the data you entered. When you return, select "Continue Adding" and the system will open the last saved step. Before leaving the page with photos or complex settings, wait for confirmation that saving has been completed.
Why can’t I move on to the next step?
Check for mandatory fields and orange error labels in the step view. The most common causes are incomplete location, missing photos, bedless capacity, invalid price, unstaged availability or non-compliant unit data. If the error repeats, open "New Support Request" from that screen; step, property and technical context are automatically added to the request.
What happens when I finish the last step?
After the final settings are confirmed, Tripundo processes the data entered and displays the percentage of progress. Do not close the page until the system confirms that the process is completed. Completed onboarding does not automatically mean that the ad is publicly visible: before posting, the mandatory content, active price, availability and status of viewing of the ad is checked.
How do I add a new property after my first onboarding?
In the host header, select "Add property". This will trigger new onboarding without deleting an existing property. Always enter different addresses as separate properties; add an additional unit to an existing address through managing that property.
Onboarding ended with an error. What should I do?
Do not re-enter the entire property until you verify that some data and photos have already been saved. Open “New Support Request” from your logged host account. The property, saved onboarding step and available technical data are automatically added to the request; you describe what happened and do not send a password or other secret information.
